@RossRuns – Thanks! I’ve taken countless photos of these heads, and just keep coming back for more. It’s such a unique/interesting public art piece, and they change as people interact with them. (They started out all white, and all of the dark coloring is from people rubbing off the paint, so you can tell where people sit/stand/touch them.)
Lookit is a collection of photos taken with an iPhone, Blackberry, Droid or other phones. Hit that big red "PLAY NOW" button there at the top to start playing right now. Or, send a message to @playlookit on Twitter and we'll hook you up.
There's a new Lookit assignment everyday. It can be a color, a thing or just a specific time to take a picture.
Look around as you live your life. When you find the perfect shot for that day's assignment, snap a pic of it with your phone and submit it from the iPhone app or email.
Pics show up online in about 5 minutes. See everyone else's submissions, then score the entries you love or hate.
Registration is closed right now unless you have an invite. Follow @playlookit on Twitter for more deets.
All you need to play Lookit is a cell phone that can send email, and half a brain.
This is very cool.
